Rental Requirements
Sorry, no one under the age of 21 will be rented a motorcycle. The driver must have a current motorcycle license. Non-USA licenses must be for BIG motorcycles. We'll need to ask for the license at the time of the pickup. Failure to show a license will forfeit your reservation.
Must have TWO YEARS prior riding experience on a similar sized motorcycled to the Harley you want to rent.
Due to the weight of a Hawg, we can't rent to anyone under 5' 5". Please call us if you think we should reconsider this policy relative to your particular situation. But, unless you're a weight lifter or Sumo wrestler, we'll probably have to say no.
A $1,000 deposit is required. The deposit covers damage or theft. The deposit can be in cash. Most people just apply it to their credit card at the time of pickup. If using a credit card you must have a credit balance of $1,000 remaining AFTER rental costs. We do not charge your card UNLESS damage occurs or the bike is not returned. If personal insurance is to cover damage or loss, the deposit is still required. If you have any questions, feel free to call us.
We reserve the right to refuse rental to anyone; even if a reservation has been made. Please don't misunderstand this statement. We're in the business of renting motorcycles, and if we could we'd have everyone renting one from us. But if someone shows up intoxicated, "spaced" or shall we say "unworthy" of one of our precious hawgs.... sorry: No rental. We're not into cosmetics, just good sense. Hope you agree us on this one.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a bike. The amount is applied to the rental. All rentals begin and end at the Ghost City Inn in Jerome, Arizona.
No motorcycles are permitted outside the USA or Arizona without prior written permission.
Each Hawg comes with a cover and high quality lock. All Hawgs come with a saddlebag and passenger seat. Free 24 hour road-side assistance is provided. We suggest you bring your own helmet. We do provide helmets when they're available, but quantities and sizes are limited. We can provide you and your partner with a leather riding jacket and chaps. Please be aware that quantities and sizing is limited for these expensive items, so we must insist you reserve them in advance. You might want to bring your own to assure the best fit.
Things that could cost you extra! The bike must be returned with a FULL tank of gas. No refunds for starting a rental late, or for ending it early. If you return the bike after the agreed upon rental date, you will be charged triple the normal amount for each additional day. Don't ride our bikes 'off road'. They are street bikes, not off-road motorcross bikes. Signs of off-road use will be frowned upon and may even be considered damage. Cleaning charges may be applied if the bike is returned in an unreasonably soiled condition. There is NO charge for normal road grime. We're not gonna get touchy on what constitutes a 'soiled condition'. But if the bike is FILTHY, hey!
